Conservative Outsider Builds Early Momentum in Race to Replace Mulvaney
(NEWBERRY, SC) – Republican candidate for the 5th Congressional District Chad Connelly today announced that his campaign has raised One Hundred Thousand Dollars in the first ten days of the race. This early fundraising total does not count any self funding by the candidate or any loans to the campaign, it is strictly from donations of individual supporters.
Connelly said, “This overwhelming early support is an indication of the tremendous momentum we have to clean up Congress and pass term limits.”
“Voters are really excited about our message of reform. I’m convinced we must first drain the swamp in DC, pass term limits and return to conservative values.”
Chad Connelly is a businessman, Army veteran, and conservative evangelical leader. On the very first day of his campaign, Connelly signed the U.S. Term Limit Pledge and has since signed the Americans for Tax Reform “Taxpayer Protection Pledge,” vowing to oppose all tax increases in Congress.
