America’s best days have not passed us by. I am convinced they lie right in front of us, but only if Washington, DC gets out of the way.
Lobbyists, trial lawyers and career politicians have caused one giant mess on Capitol Hill and it is way past time for us to drain the swamp.
My name is Chad Connelly and I am a candidate for Congress from the 5th District of South Carolina. I am running in the special election Republican primary to fill Mick Mulvaney’s congressional seat this upcoming Tuesday, May 2.
I am a conservative that believes in small government and standing up for American families. Washington needs real reform and fundamental change to help create a pro business environment that will encourage more jobs, strong leadership to restore more funding to keep our military strong, and discipline to reform and cut taxes so that our national economy can skyrocket.
To accomplish these goals, we need leaders that are not just like the others.
We certainly don’t need more lobbyists, trial lawyers or career politicians in Congress. I am a Christian conservative outsider candidate that will fight for fundamental reform. I have personally pledged to serve no more than 12 years because I am convinced that reform should start with term limits because it is the best way to finally drain the swamp. I know that term limits would do more than anything else to change the culture in Congress.
Citizen legislators look at problems with fresh eyes, with a different viewpoint. I know that we can find answers to old problems with new vision and strong leadership.
As a businessman, I also understand what it’s like to have to balance the books and make payroll. Here’s my promise; I won’t ever vote for a tax increase. In fact, I will help President Trump enact conservative tax reform this summer that lowers taxes.
Others politicians might say one thing now and do another in DC, but not me.
In fact, two of my opponents in this primary (Reps. Tommy Pope and Ralph Norman) are good men and they do say they are for tax reform now, but they both voted for a gas tax increase while serving in the State House. That’s just not the kind of leadership we need here in the 5th District of South Carolina.
Please consider voting for a Christian, Conservative outsider on Tuesday, May 2. Please vote for Chad Connelly for Congress.
