People of District 5, I urge you to consider voting for Chad Connelly for Congress on May 2nd. He is faith driven, conservative, and very serious about moving towards positive change in our state and nation.
I also urge you to research about the candidates. Find out what they believe, what they plan to do, and the motivation behind their actions. Posting on social media about something you believe in is great, but getting up and VOTING is better!
If you believe in positive change, be a part of the first steps and VOTE, VOTE, VOTE! After years of knowing Chad, I can tell you with full confidence that he knows what he is doing and is very well prepared to nudge our country in the right direction.
If you plan on voting for him, don’t let the support stop there. Pray for him, his precious family, and this journey. #ChadConnellyForCongressKendall
Why we need Chad Connelly for Congress. It’s rare that one of our finest Congressmen gets a promotion to manage the budget for the entirety of the United States, it speaks volumes about our choice in sending Mick Mulvaney to represent us in Washington DC.
We are once again tasked with selecting the right candidate to represent us in Washington. So, what do we need? We need a proven leader, one who speaks the truth, who will honestly answer our questions and will honestly represent our views to their colleagues and fight for our shared values.
Chad Connelly is that kind of man. I first met Chad when he was Chairman of the South Carolina Republican Party. He was outgoing, interested in the views of others, and worked tirelessly to improve the Party. Chad was the leader of the party who oversaw the election of Republicans to every constitutional office in the State. He fought those in the National Party who wanted to take away the prestige of holding the” First in the South” primary election, and He WON!
Chad is a man of principle, a veteran of the US Army, a family man, a leader amongst men and deserving of my vote. I believe he is also deserving of yours in the upcoming election to find a suitable replacement for Mick Mulvaney.Robert
In the race to replace Mick Mulvaney in the U.S. House of Representatives, I am proud to put my support behind Chad Connelly. Chad is a great example of a concerned citizen running to stand up for his beliefs. He has never held an elected office, making him unstained by Washington and its culture of corruption. Some may look at his resume and see a lack of experience, but he is no novice. He has spent the last decade articulating his beliefs and the values of the Republican Party.
Chad previously served two terms as Chairman of the South Carolina Republican Party, a tenure that saw the GOP maintain its majority across the General Assembly. He currently serves as the Director of Faith Engagement for the Republican National Committee; he is the only person to hold such an office in American history, as this post was created specifically for him by then-Chairman Reince Priebus. In this position, Connelly has travelled to 40 states and spoken to more than 80,000 pastors and religious leaders about the need for people of faith to get involved in the political process.
As a Conservative, he is pro-2nd Amendment, opposes raising the debt ceiling, wants to cut taxes and regulation, and create more jobs (he is a small business owner himself). He has promised to introduce a term limits bill, and vowed to not serve more than twelve years himself.
As a Christian, he is pro-life, pro-family, and pro-God. Family values is a key component of his campaign. The first time I saw Chad was at a strategy session on how to reduce the number of abortions in our state (via the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act), and the next time I saw him speak was at the We Stand With God Pro-Family Rally. While many will say their values guide them, Chad has proven time and again that he is driven by conviction, not political expediency.
It is an honor for me to support Chad Connelly for the House, and I encourage everyone in the 5th District to do the same.Tommy
My good friend Chad Connelly is running for Congress in South Carolina’s Fifth District’s special election the fill the seat vacated since Mick Mulvaney resigned to take over as director of the Office of Management and Budget.
Chad is a strong Christian family man. He was at Clemson with me. He majored in civil engineering and pledged ATO. He served in a tank unit in the Army. He has been a businessman for years. Chad helped grow the conservative Republican brand as Newberry County party chairman and then as state party chair of the SCGOP. He pretty much created a new position and put his brand on religious outreach in the RNC and can take much of the credit for religious voters turning out to vote for conservatives and electing Pres. Trump.
Chad has good common sense. He’s a real guy who loves Jesus and has come through tough times and adversity and heartbreak. He has empathy. He loves to laugh. He loves the promise of America. He loves South Carolina. He wants the best for all of us, and he knows it is possible for us to have it.
Vote for my good friend, Chad Connelly.Jim
There will be big shoes to fill soon in the South Carolina Fifth Congressional District, and I can think of no one better than my good friend Chad Connelly to take on that challenge as a new Congressman for South Carolina! Chad is a man of strong character and Christian faith who leads by example.
Whether it’s his military service, business ownership, school choice advocacy and party leadership at the local, state, and national level, Chad is a great leader with super strong work ethic, innovative ideas, and a well-rounded background who will serve us well. Hoping my friends in the 5th District and around South Carolina will join me in supporting Chad Connelly for Congress!Cindy
